Square Dish in Eucalyptus
Approx 20cms square
Not all bowls and dishes are square! This was a small piece of Eucalyptus timber gleaned from a log I found in County Wicklow in Ireland. The log was so split that the only useable piece of timber I could salvage from it was just big enough and thick enough to create this rather quirky dish. It is a strange timber with a mind of its own - but this piece presented some very interesting grain and figuring.
